The Challenge

Loggerhead Partners is a financial services firm operating two distinct entities: Loggerhead Partners as the parent company and Loggerhead Corporate Services as a subsidiary focused on corporate service delivery. Each entity needed its own professional web presence with distinct messaging and service descriptions, while maintaining the brand consistency that financial services clients expect.

In financial services, the website is often the first credibility check a potential client performs. A site that looks dated, loads slowly, or lacks professional team profiles can cost a firm opportunities before a single conversation happens. Loggerhead needed two sites that would immediately establish trust and professionalism while clearly differentiating the services offered by each entity.

Our Approach

Brand Implementation. Starting from the 2015 brand guide and an extensive logo library, we ensured consistent brand application across both websites. The logo library included Loggerhead Partners and Loggerhead Corporate Services variations in RGB, CMYK, and PMS formats, plus a distinctive turtle icon mark available in sizes ranging from 16px favicon to 1600px hero placement. Every design decision — from color palette to typography — traced back to the brand guidelines.

Website Architecture and Content. Both sites were built on WordPress with parallel architectures: Home, What We Do, Our People, Our Offices, and FAQs. Six team member profiles were developed with professional photography and biographical content that communicated expertise and approachability. Office information was structured to support local search visibility. The content was written to balance financial services professionalism with accessibility.

SEO Audit and Local Presence. We conducted a technical SEO audit documenting heading tag issues, URL structure concerns, and crawl errors. Sitemap architectures were designed for both sites to ensure proper indexation. Google Business Profile verification was completed with professional photography of office exteriors and interiors, establishing the local search foundation that financial services firms need for geographic credibility.

Digital Performance Forecast. We delivered a comprehensive digital forecast for 2018 that projected PPC performance: an estimated $2,400 monthly Google Ads budget projected to generate approximately 5,500 clicks and 100-110 conversions at roughly $22 cost per acquisition. This forecast gave Loggerhead clear expectations for their digital marketing investment and a baseline against which to measure actual performance.

The Results

Both websites launched with professional, brand-consistent designs that matched the credibility standards of the financial services industry. The combined web presence gave Loggerhead a unified yet differentiated digital footprint across both entities. Key outcomes:

  • Two corporate WordPress websites built with consistent brand implementation
  • Six professional team member profiles with photography and biographical content
  • SEO audit with technical recommendations and sitemap architecture for both sites
  • Google Business Profile verification with professional office photography
  • Multi-format logo library implemented across all digital touchpoints
  • Digital performance forecast establishing projected PPC ROI benchmarks
  • NDA and formal letter of engagement ensuring confidentiality for financial services content

What We Learned

The Loggerhead project reinforced that financial services websites are credibility infrastructure, not just marketing assets. Every element — team photos, office locations, professional bios, clean design — contributes to the trust signal that potential clients evaluate before making contact. In an industry where the stakes of choosing the wrong partner are high, the website does more qualifying work than most firms realize.

Building two related but distinct sites simultaneously also highlighted the efficiency of parallel development. When the brand guidelines, design system, and content strategy are established for one site, the second site benefits from all of that foundational work. The marginal cost of the second site was significantly lower than the first, a model we now recommend to any multi-entity organization.
