The Challenge

A real estate developer in Grenada was selling citizenship-by-investment (CBI) through the country’s government programme. The deal: qualifying real estate investment in exchange for a Grenadian passport. That passport carries visa-free travel to more than 140 countries, including the UK and the Schengen zone, and it opens the door to the US E-2 treaty investor visa. Few Caribbean CBI options stack up that well. The buyers were high-net-worth individuals scattered across the globe: Iran, Turkey, Russia, Brazil, China, Vietnam, and across Latin America. Different languages, different reasons for wanting a second citizenship, different ways of researching online. And the CBI sales cycle is long. A lead moves from first inquiry to reservation, then application, government approval, closing, and finally title transfer, often over many months. The developer needed digital infrastructure that could generate leads, nurture them through that whole sequence, and track where each one stood.

Our Approach

Paid Media Campaigns. We ran campaigns on Google Ads, Facebook, and LinkedIn for a combined budget of roughly $2,100 a month. On Google, we went after intent: searches for Grenada citizenship, Caribbean CBI, and the cluster of investment-immigration terms around them. Facebook let us reach affluent audiences interested in international mobility. LinkedIn did something different, putting us in front of the financial and legal advisors who counsel HNWI clients on residency planning. Multilingual Landing Pages and Content. We translated the full website into Chinese, Portuguese, Spanish, and Vietnamese, and built landing pages for each priority market. Translation was the floor, not the ceiling. We also wrote the content: pieces on the benefits of Grenadian citizenship, what the island offers, how the E-2 pathway works, guides for first-time investors. Monthly reporting tracked organic growth next to paid performance so we could see what each channel was actually doing. HubSpot Pipeline Implementation. We built the HubSpot pipeline to mirror the actual CBI process, stage for stage: Sales Qualified Lead, Reservation (a $220,000 investment commitment), Application Submitted, Citizenship Approved, Closing once funds landed, and Transfer of Title. The sales team could see exactly where every lead sat. Just as useful, we could finally attribute revenue back to the channel that produced it. Email Marketing in Five Languages. We built autoresponder sequences in five languages: Farsi, Turkish, Russian, Portuguese, and Spanish. A lead from Iran got their follow-up in Farsi. A Brazilian lead got Portuguese. The automation handled language matching on its own, so the sales team never had to juggle which follow-up went out in which language. SEO and Organic Strategy. Alongside the paid work, we ran a full SEO audit with keyword research and benchmark reporting. The organic plan aimed at building authority for Grenada CBI search terms, leaning on content marketing and technical fixes, plus the kind of genuinely useful informational pages about the programme and the island that tend to earn links.

The Results

Our campaigns produced $3.35 million in pipeline value across 14 deals attributed directly to digital, with deals at every stage from qualified lead to closing. The developer’s total pipeline ran to $130 million across 500-plus deals, so digital wasn’t the whole story. What it did provide was a steady, reliable flow of qualified international leads. Key outcomes:
  • $3.35 million in pipeline value attributed directly to digital marketing campaigns
  • 14 qualified deals tracked across all pipeline stages from lead to closing
  • Website translated into Chinese, Portuguese, Spanish, and Vietnamese
  • Email autoresponders in five languages for automated multilingual nurture
  • Full HubSpot CBI pipeline tracking the complete application lifecycle
  • Monthly organic traffic reaching 1,174 visits with an 8.52% conversion rate and 100 brochure requests
  • Content marketing programme with articles supporting SEO and investor education

What We Learned

CBI marketing is really about trust, built across cultural and language barriers. Someone committing $220,000 for citizenship in a country they may never have set foot in needs reassurance at every step. The multilingual content and the automated nurture did part of that work. The transparent pipeline did the rest, by making a high-stakes cross-border transaction feel less risky. The five-language autoresponder system taught us the most. In investment migration, the language of that first reply often decides whether a lead keeps going or quietly disappears. A Farsi-speaking investor who gets English-only follow-up is far less likely to stay engaged than one who hears back in their own language. Setting up the multilingual automation cost very little next to what it did for lead-to-reservation conversion. That lesson fed straight into the multilingual infrastructure we later built for LCR Capital Partners and Latitude.
